All are welcome here!
We are the oldest Presbyterian church in Philadelphia in its original building. During the Revolutionary War, we were notably pro-Independence, earning the nickname the “Church of the Patriots.” Read more about our fascinating history here.
Today, we are a welcoming and active congregation that has grown significantly over the last decade. We offer thoughtful, challenging preaching, inspiring music, a wonderful kids ministry, a variety of mission opportunities, intergenerational fellowship, and diverse educational offerings. Our worship style is traditional, but warm, engaging, and personal. While we do not livestream our services (in part because we believe so strongly in the benefits of gathering in-person), we do offer audio of each week’s sermon, which can be accessed here.
We are members of the Presbyterian Church (USA). More information about our denomination can be found here (https://www.pcusa.org/).
